TWO pensioners were injured in a car crash yesterday.
Police, Fire and Rescue and Ambulance and Rescue services attended after a call reporting a two-car collision at the junction of Route des Quartiers and Route de Countanchez at 4.58pm.
A 68-year-old local man with whiplash injuries and a 65-year-old local woman with whiplash and leg injuries were taken from one of the cars to hospital.
A 28-year-old local woman who had been travelling in the other car was treated at the scene for a minor head injury.
An Ambulance and Rescue spokesman said it appeared the cars had collided at the yellow line junction.
Firefighters were there to make the scene secure and clear up, he said.
