Defeat ‘could put Saints out of the equation’

ST MARTIN’S need a victory over Bels today for two reasons: to get over their nightmare defeat to North last weekend and to keep in the title race.
Seven days ago at Northfield, Colin Fallaize’s side found themselves 4-1 down seconds into the second half.
But Saints bounced back to score three goals in two minutes and then go ahead through Chris Mauger.
However, all that hard work was undone when North themselves rallied back to level things before Alex Le Prevost scored a screamer of a goal to wrap up his hat-trick and put the home side in the lead again.
And as the clock was ticking, to make matters worse for Fallaize and his team, Ben Hunter missed an absolute sitter that would have given them a share of the points.
It was all too much for Fallaize at the final whistle, as he walked off shaking his head and not saying much.
