MARTYN LOWE extended his autocross championship lead with another maximum-points haul as he headed Dean Leaver over the line with a hard charging Callum Queripel in third place.
Lowe had no problems in his heat as he beat Trevor Breton, but the 2Fast 2Serious driver had been behind Queripel for half the race yet in a couple of laps the former had been passed by Leaver.
Breton, by winning the race of seconds, claimed second in the points as defending champion Ozzy Ozanne had rolled his quick Jaguar in his heat.
Although able to win the race of rests, Ozanne slips to third in the championship. He shares the place with Queripel whose consistent scoring has paid dividends.
Queripel is leading in both the reverse track championships with a win and a second place on Sunday helping his chances of the overall titles.
