INJURY problems continue to blight Guernsey.
Joining long-term victim James Regnard on the sidelines for tomorrow’s trip to Bognor are influential backs Divon Crouse (ankle problem) and Blair Campbell (knee) as well as lock John Duggon (ribs).
However, there was some good news for captain Simon Sharrott to report.
‘We do see the return of Darren Jones and Nick Barton to the back row, which should hopefully give us some stability to work off,’ he said. ‘We do not know too much about Bognor apart from that they are above us in the league. Nevertheless, they have had some mixed results.
‘We go over there with confidence and a real desire to win and with that we have to be ruthless – meaning converting our opportunities into points – which we have lacked in the previous two games.’
Sharrott added that the run-up to Christmas would be tough for his troops, with Chichester visiting Foote’s Lane next week and then a trip to Guildford finishing off the calendar year.
