Dewe extends lead in race for Sark AC crown

LIZ DEWE has won yet another competition in the Sark AC and has increased her lead at the top of the championship table.
In spite of the appalling weather, seven members turned out for the seven-hour roving shore event and five managed to find fish to bring to the weigh-in.
Dewe’s winning catch was one pollack, seven black bream and one ballan wrasse for 10-2-0 and 53.5 points.
Second was Glyn Williams with three black bream and one ballan wrasse for 5-13-0 and 33.25. Henry Curry was third with a black bream and a ballan wrasse, for 2-12-0 and 21, while Darren Dewe grabbed fourth spot with a 0-12-0 black bream worth 11 points.
Junior angler Jason Brehaut completed the catches with a 1-9-0 ballan wrasse to score 8.25 points.
