Sharrott pledges a fight to the end

TABLE-TOPPERS Chichester bring the toughest test of the London Three South-West season so far to Foote’s Lane this afternoon.
Guernsey are braced for a stern challenge, but captain Simon Sharrott (pictured) believes his injury-hit side are capable of overturning the leaders.
‘The whole squad are confident that we can get points from this game and everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet,’ he said.
‘We do not know too much about Chichester but we go into the game ready to scrap for every blade of grass on the pitch to achieve a much needed win.’
The side shows no notable changes from the one that suffered an agonising two-point defeat away to Bognor a week ago, with Divon Crouse, John Duggon and Blair Campbell still unavailable.
