THE juniors and pre 65 classes of the latest GMC&CC trials took place behind The Bowl.
Heavy overnight rain had made several of the sections very wet with one section causing troubles for all but a few of the riders.
Elisha Benstead, Ross Torode and Mark Corlett once more won their classes. In the afternoon the sections for the seniors started at Bulwer Avenue stretching along the coastline as far as Bordeaux Harbour.
Strong winds, driving rain and cold temperatures meant the afternoon was not for the fair-weather riders.
Despite this nearly 20 competitors attempted the sections which in some places, due to the conditions, proved quite challenging.
In the expert section Tom Scott proved once more unbeatable, dropping only 17 points while Darryl Sharman too was successful, winning the novice again.
Ken Brouard, last year’s clubman winner, took first place in this section, Neil Sarre again took second place with Dave de Garis third.
