PETIT BOT was the venue for the latest trials competition in the new season.

Once more downpours of rain over the earlier few days caused large amounts of points to be dropped in the morning, with Roy de Jersey being the only rider on one section being able to drop fewer than five points.

This enabled him to take first place in the pre 65 section ahead of Mark Cortlett.

A battle took place in the Expert route with Ian Le Patourel and Clem Brouard fighting it out for second place.

With an equal score of 57, the final placings were decided by the number of clean sections ridden. Brouard rode 16 cleans to Le Patourel’s nine.

For both riders this was their highest placing this season.
