0644751.jpgCOMEBACK kid Tom Scott put two injury-plagued season behind him to reclaim the Brittany Trials Championship in September.

The Sarnian, pictured, who had been hampered by knee problems, led throughout the season before claiming the final event in Breal.

‘When I came back for the first event I wasn’t expecting to win it, but when I did, it gave me the confidence to really train hard and build my season,’ he said.

However, his bid to win back the title he had won in 2005 looked doomed when he fell during a local hill climb event and tore ligaments in his shoulder, but doctors decided that it could be left without an operation.

Scott placed first in the Breal event, making him the champion with 127 points, 13 ahead of his nearest rival Romain Jezegou.
