Brave Lauren unruffled by Casper’s festive spirit
Friday 2nd January 2009, 2:29PM GMT.
AARON RENOUF riding Lulu opened the day’s jumping at La Carriere Stables by winning both classes one and two.
But the latter was very closely contested by a bunch of cracking riders just off the leading rein.
Chloe Oke came a good second and very close behind was Lauren Pink riding Angel.
In fourth place, Lauren Domaille did very well to keep a very excited Casper under control.
Casper was full of the Christmas spirit and proceeded to catapult Domaille off at fence number five in the next class when he refused very unexpectedly, but she remounted and continued with the rest of the course totally unruffled, unharmed and ready for more.
Ellie French was the winner of this class but was last to go, riding Molly in the Zip Up Minimum jump-off.
