RANGERS coach Paul Ockleford has said that reported behind-the-scenes turmoil at the club is not affecting him or his team.
Tomorrow Ockleford’s team head to Sylvans keen to consolidate third place in the Division One table with a victory.
But behind the scenes Mac Gallienne, club president and the driving force behind the club’s revival in recent seasons, has reportedly severed ties with the club.
On top of that, minis co-ordinator Nick Graham, Matt Marquis, the football section secretary, and Chris Schofield have also quit the committee.
However, Ockleford, who runs the red-and-blacks’ first team with Shaun Lihou, was quick to dispel any rumours of unrest.
‘There’s no turmoil,’ he said. ‘People have made decisions to move on and they all just came at once. It’s not affected the players or me.
‘The club has got a positive feel about it.’
