A major inconvenience if Grand Bouet Stores cannot be sold on

Bouet Stores owners Brian and Margaret Holloway.
BOUET residents are worried that their local store might close.
The owners of the Grand Bouet Stores, Brian and Margaret Holloway, said they might have to close the shop if they cannot find a buyer.
They have been trying to sell the store after Mrs Holloway suffered a heart attack and Mr Holloway’s health deteriorated several years ago.
Mr Holloway said there had been people interested in buying for years but none could raise the money needed.
‘The ordinary working class person can’t raise the sort of deposit needed and, because of the reputation the Bouet Estate has, people get nervous,’ he said.
Mr Holloway said if he couldn’t sell the business, he would have to look at selling the shop for conversion.
‘I’m hoping someone will save our shop and that someone will eventually come forward.’

Voice For Victims
Voice for Victims is a campaign aimed at promoting the rights of those affected by child sexual abuse.
Am I mistaken or is there not a huge store approximately 5 minutes away, with a huge range of products?
If walking to that superstore from the Grand Bouet is a “major inconvenience” then it’s easy to see why obesity is on the rise!

And further more, seeing as “corner shops” are notoriously over priced compared to supermarkets, people would be much better off without it!
