A MOTOR vehicle technician branded his boss a bully and a liar at an employment tribunal.

Neil Forman is claiming that Spellbound Holdings Ltd, trading as Bougourd Ford, constructively dismissed him.

For the company, Advocate Jessica Roland (pictured) said Mr Forman had used strong language about Spellbound managing director Ian Carse’s alleged behaviour and should be asked to substantiate it.

Mr Forman told the hearing at Les Cotils that he had worked for the local Ford dealership from September 1993 until June last year.

He had been happy for most of the time until March last year, when consultation was taking place over the company’s plans to introduce a new staff handbook and contracts of employment.

Mr Forman was not happy with some aspects of the handbook and did not sign it.

He objected to remarks he claimed Mr Carse had made at a meeting with staff.
