THERE were two comprehensive victories in the latest round of the Yorkshire Guernsey Women’s League.

TLC Unity had few problems taking care of Louvre Group while Shootin Starz One got the better of bottom-placed Capital PVC by 51 points.

Shootin Starz controlled the game from the off, leading 22-4 by the end of the first quarter and they never looked back.

All this was in the face of some excellent defending by PVC, who are improving all the time.

The final score was 70-19 to the Starz, with Holly Priaulx the victors’ top scorer with 20 points.

Vicky Merrien was named the match’s most valuable player.

And it was a similar scoreline in TLC’s encounter with second-placed Louvre.
