Beaucamps on a high as Year 7s sweep the board

LES BEAUCAMPS HIGH’S Year 7 netball team are a force to be reckoned with.
They proved how dangerous they are on the court when they swept aside all who came up against them in the recent Schools Year 7 Tournament at Beau Sejour.
‘I’ve got two or three island players and they [the team] are really talented,’ said Les Beaucamps coach Helen Banks.
‘They’ve gelled really well together and they are very keen. They are a lovely bunch.’
Les Beaucamps had previously defeated all the other schools in friendlies prior to the competition.
And their toughest game in the event was against Ladies’ College, which they won 11-3.
College ended up in joint second place with Blanchelande, while Grammar finished fourth, St Sampson’s fifth and La Mare de Carteret sixth.
