THE Guernsey under-18s will be looking to avenge a defeat tomorrow.
The side are travelling to Dorchester to take on Dorset in the South & West Counties Youth Championship.
Back in October, Paul Ockleford’s team were beaten by the south-coast county in the first round of the FA County Youth Cup. ‘Last time we played them we narrowly lost 2-1, but we put in a really good performance,’ said Ockleford.
‘Their goalkeeper was the best player on the pitch. We started strong but we didn’t take our chances as a team.
‘We were just not as streetwise as the Dorset team. We were very positive but we just didn’t manage it on the day.
‘It was just one of those days.’
The initrial,23-man squad have been working hard in preparation for the match.
