IT IS as you were in the race for the Priaulx Cup.

But all the weekend’s credit should go to the groundsmen, who ensured that surprisingly few fixtures were lost and none of those were in the top flight.

Both leaders Bels and their title challengers North, who meet on the last day of the month, made the most of their matches by claiming three points apiece with victories over Rovers and Rangers respectively.

At the Track, Dave Rihoy scored a hat-trick to bring his season’s tally up to 49 as the champions racked up 10 goals without reply.

Joby Bourgaize also scored three with AJ Saunders netting a brace and Paul Ramsden and Glenn Skillett grabbing one each.

North had a harder task in beating their hosts 4-2 at St Andrew’s.

‘It was a battle out there today,’ said North boss Mick Le Prevost afterwards.
