GUERNSEY squash is mourning the death of Nigel Blackburn.
Blackburn, pictured, died on Monday aged just 37.
He represented Guernsey on the squash court at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur and was a former island champion.
‘He was a great guy and he’ll be sadly missed,’ said friend and squash player Steve Snell.
‘He was a great sportsman, not only in squash, but in badminton as well. It’s a shame that he’s gone but hopefully people will remember him for his sporting accolades.’
