MICK LE PREVOST is spitting feathers that several of his team are playing for Guernsey under-18s instead of turning out in North’s crucial Division One fixture with Sylvans tomorrow.
The juniors are playing Cornwall away at the same time in the South & West Counties Championship.
North boss Le Prevost will be without Matt Loaring, Scott Bougourd, Kieran Mahon and Nigel Hutton, who will all be in England instead of at Northfield.
Coupled with injuries and players away, Le Prevost said he has a bare 11 for a match which North are desperate to win to keep in touch with league leaders Bels.
‘Struggling is not the word – it’s unbelievable,’ he said. ‘I’ve got about seven or eight missing. It’s a nightmare. It’s very unfair. The GFA said we’ve got enough players signed on, but you want your best players available.
‘It’s not the right way to go about this. It needs to be looked at.’
Le Prevost will also be without Gareth Holden and defender Sam Stables, who are both off the island.
