FRIDAY evening’s Hint of Pink ball is expected to raise £4,000 for the Georgina’s Gang charity.

The Lt-Governor, Sir Fabian Malbon, and Lady Malbon were among the 270 people who attended the event at St Pierre Park Hotel.

‘Lady Malbon presented Georgina with a lovely hand-made pink bracelet, which was a lovely gesture,’ said Georgina’s father, Ian Pearce.

Georgina and her sister, Jessica, presented Lady Malbon with flowers.

The raffle raised £2,000 and Mr Pearce is hopeful that a similar amount will be made through ticket sales.

An offer has also been made to do the electrics in an extension that will be built at the family home and photographer Tim Langlois has agreed to donate proceeds from the pictures he took at the ball.
