Stamps price rise
Wednesday 1st April 2009, 2:00PM BST.
THE price of stamps is set to rise today. Local stamps will increase to 36p, while the cost of sending a letter to UK, Jersey or the Isle of Man will rise to 43p.
It will now cost 51p to send an airmail letter to Europe.
Islanders can continue to use their old stamps, but they may need to buy 2p or 3p stamps to ensure their letters meet the new rates.
