Priaulx makes return
Thursday 23rd April 2009, 2:29PM BST.
ANDY PRIAULX (pictured) is returning to the Nurburgring 24-hour race.
He is one of three BMW works drivers lining up on 23/24 May, the other two being Augusto Farfus and Jorg Muller.
This will mark the debut of the BMW M3 GT4 at the legendary endurance race.
Muller and Priaulx will be behind the wheel of the car when they race for Schubert Motorsport in the Eifel region.
The two drivers, who are normally involved in a battle for glory in the FIA World Touring Car Championship, will join forces with German journalists Marcus Schurig and Jochen Ubler.
The editors of the specialist Sport Auto magazine in Germany have many years of racing experience behind them, and have entered the ‘Green Hell’ numerous times in the past.
Together with tyre partner Dunlop, this quartet of drivers has its sights set on a top position in the SP10 class. Priaulx and Muller have both been previous winners of the event.
