Big guns out for final show of season

Callum Pearson ALL the island’s big guns should be in action at the final Dinner Boxing Show of the season tonight.

In one of the most mouth-watering line-ups in ages, Matt Jennings, Tom Duff, Callum Pearson (pictured), Wayne Calladine, James Woolnough, Bradley Watson and Gage Demore are all set to wear the green vest of Guernsey against the Western Counties Select side at the St Pierre Park Hotel.

‘It’s going to be a good line-up and if it goes to plan, it will be one of the best of the season,’ said Guernsey coach Graham Guilbert.

‘They are all at the top of their fitness now, even the juniors. They’ve really worked hard throughout the season.’

The Guernsey team features four current Western Counties champions in Jennings, Pearson, Watson and Demore.

They were all awarded their belts in Weston-Super-Mare two weekends ago.
