Bodman claims silver

ERICA BODMAN (pictured), the high jumper turned rower, has won her first major medal in a boat.
Competing in the British Universities Regatta at the National Watersport Centre in Holme Pierrepoint, she won silver in the intermediate singles behind Emily Taylor, who won medals at last year’s European and world under-23 championships.
In the pairs, she partnered Anna Railton, a member of the Cambridge Boat Race squad. They placed fifth in the final after catching a crab in the last 200 metres.
