ENTRY forms for the Pink Ladies Sunset Coastal Walk can now be picked up with the weekly shop.

Sandpiper CI, owner of Checkers and Safeway supermarkets, has started distributing registration and sponsorship forms at Checkers, Admiral Park, and Safeway, in the Rohais.

Entries are gathering pace for the walk, which has the Guernsey Press as its media partner, and which takes place on Saturday 20 June.

Sandpiper chief executive Tony O’Neill said the company was delighted to help the Pink Ladies breast cancer support group.

‘The charity provides essential advice, support and awareness to Guernsey women of all ages and I hope our support will encourage others to dig deep to ensure the Sunset Walk is a huge success,’ he said.

Pink Lady Linda Falla said they were aiming to get as many women as possible to do the walk this year.

‘In 2007 we had more than 2,000 women and we’d like to match that at least this year.’
