POLICE this morning named 11-year-old Callum Eborall as the pedestrian who died after a collision with a motorcycle in Les Banques on Friday night.
Emotional tributes have been paid to Callum, described as a popular boy with a cheeky smile.
An estimated 150 people attended an informal ceremony yesterday lunchtime near to where family and friends had laid flowers, cards and a Liverpool scarf at the weekend.
The motorcycle was travelling with four others from the direction of the Bridge when the incident occurred.
A single white trainer was left on the seaward side of the road opposite Clos des Isles and there was bike debris at intervals alongside the wall on the opposite side after the crash.
Callum was treated at the scene before being taken by ambulance with a police escort to hospital.
He died later that night.
The 16-year-old motorcyclist was today still in hospital and his condition was improving.
The collision happened between the junctions of Victoria Avenue and Clos des Isles at about 9.30pm.
