£85,000 agreed but not a penny is paid
Wednesday 20th May 2009, 2:29PM BST.
A FORMER chief executive of advertising agency Wallace Barnaby claimed at an unfair dismissal hearing yesterday that he was given no reason for his sacking.
Bruce Wallace (pictured) was one of the founders of the company, which went into liquidation in October.
In September, he was informed that he was no longer part of the team and that he would get six months’ pay plus benefits, but has received nothing.
Yesterday’s tribunal at Les Cotils, which was chaired by Juliet Scott, had no representatives from Wallace Barnaby, which did not contest the claim.
It was left to the panel to decide how much Mr Wallace should be awarded.
The tribunal panel will make a decision in the next few weeks.
