A company is asking for the public’s help in finding six stolen banners.
Jackie Joy, from Joy’s Production Services, has been working to promote the Bjorn Again Abba tribute act, who are performing in Guernsey a week on Friday.
Two weeks ago, five promotional lawn banners, each worth £20, were taken from outside Beau Sejour.
Then the largest banner, worth £100, was taken from outside the Guernsey Information Centre on Tuesday night.
‘We were very surprised when it happened. I don’t know why anyone would want them.
‘Maybe they don’t like Abba,’ said Mrs Joy, who added that the information on the banners was essential in letting islanders know about the event.
‘There is no time to print up any more. It is quite disheartening.’
Accounts and marketing manager Emma Joy had been put in charge of putting up a replacement banner at the Tourist Information Centre.
‘The first banner was secured with cable ties, but now we are using chains and padlocks as well,’ she said.
