FRM defended their Sark to Jersey title on Saturday, winning by just eight seconds from Sarnian rivals Julius Bar.
It was a hot, slow race from Sark to Bonne Nuit Bay in Jersey and even the fastest boats took two hours to cross the line.
FRM, comprising Geoff Gavey, Matthew Harradine, Ian Atkinson and Daniel Harradine, stopped the clock in 2hrs 39sec.
Completing a 1-2-3 for the Sarnians were the talented men’s pairing of Paul Isaacs and Joe Paul, who finished wiithin four minutes of the winners.
Legis were fourth and the first Jersey boat home was the Jersey Post sixes, in fifth.
Olympic rower Tim Brabants was in a men’s four that made it in seventh place.
All told, 51 boats took part and all made it to the finish.
