THE fast and furious sport of indoor netball is on its way to the island.
The sport is popular in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa and is growing in the UK.
Guernsey has already been invited to participate in the World Championships in March 2010.
On Wednesday 23 July, the Indoor Cricket Guernsey centre will host a taster session of the game.
Played within the high tension netted courts at the new Hougue du Pommier facility, the ball can be passed off the nets and cannot go out of play.
Gill Queripel said that anyone is welcome to turn up to the taster session with their team.
Or if they do not have a side, they will be placed into one.
‘We are really excited to be able to offer the new indoor nets game next season as well as the usual outdoor winter league and superleague,’ said Queripel.
