Swedes deny Watson

SWEDEN triumphed over Great Britain in Austria yesterday and it spelled the end of Heather Watson’s challenge at the European Junior Championships.
Partnered by Sam Vickers, the No. 6 seeds lost their quarter-final against Sweden’s Anna Brazhnikova and Hilda Melander.
After losing the first set 6-2, the British pair took the second 7-6 after winning the tie-break 7-4.
It was then into a first to 10 tie-break and the Swede’s won 10-7.
