ENGLAND World Cup winners and British & Irish Lions mixed with Guernsey’s own rugby stars as well as fans last night.

As part of Lewis Moody and Geordan Murphy’s testimonial year, local firm Cenkos hosted ‘An Evening with Leicester Tigers’ at the Auberge at Jerbourg.

The main guests, Moody and Murphy from the Premiership champions, were joined by fellow internationals Richard Hill and Rory Underwood in an evening’s entertainment in the form of a question and answer session compered by Leicester Tigers’ chief executive Peter Wheeler, himself a former British Lion.
