BAILIWICK students once again outshone their UK counterparts – although results were slightly down on last year.
More than 600 students achieved a pass rate at A* to C, which was nearly 7% higher than pupils nationally.
Further GCSE results are still pending and will need to be added.
An Education spokesperson said the department was confident the overall pass rate would increase.
But it is unlikely to have these figures until next week. ‘Schools also offer Level 1 and entry level courses and students are to be congratulated on the standards they have achieved,’ the department said.
