WORLD Topper champion Andrew Bridgman (15), who intends to join his sister at Guernsey Sixth Form College next year, won the fourth series nationwide event at Mumbles in a fleet of 195 dinghies.
After a third in the first race, Bridgman then dominated, scoring two firsts on the first day and a first in the first race on the last day, so that even with a ninth in the last race he won the regatta.
Bridgman has a chance to win the Nationwide series if he decides to compete atHelensburgh in north-west Scotland in the last event at the end of October, but it clashes with an important national laser squad training event at Weymouth as he tries to gain a place in the Team GBR squad for Thailand next year.Nationwide series fourth regatta: Future Guernsey sixth-former dominates in Mumbles
