FINE, dry weather did not bring with it grip for the drivers at the September all-day non-championship meeting.

Many competitors complained of the lack of grip on the track for the Forest Road Garage-sponsored event and lap times were down on the August meeting.

In the cadet class Connor Le Cras and Daniel Galpin both secured victory from pole position in heats one and two respectively.

Cameron Robert was the winner of heat three after gaining the lead on lap two.

Second place in all three heats went to Angus Torode, putting him in pole position for the final.

Galpin was alongside him on the front row with Le Cras in third.

All three drivers held their same positions to the chequered flag.

Two drivers decided to try their hand at two classes as it was a non-championship round.

Kasey Watson entered both mini max and junior max classes. Watson took a lights to flag victory in all three heats and final of mini max, each time followed by Jordan Caradeuc in second.

In the junior max class, Watson crossed the line first in heats one and two with Tia Harvey taking the honours in heat three.
