Watson wins monthly LTA junior award

HEATHER WATSON has been nominated as the Aegon Junior Player of the Month for September.
The award is selected by the Player Team at the LTA. This team consists of the head coaches of men’s or women’s tennis, national coaches and the player director, taking into consideration a combination of ranking improvements, outstanding performance and significant results.
Watson was the outstanding candidate following her brilliant victory at the US Open junior championships in New York.
