Island duo fly to 200 titles

IAN HUBERT and Robyn Le Friec recorded the fastest times of the day in the 200m butterfly event of the NRG Series staged by the Beau Sejour Barracudas Swimming Club.
A 2-16.18 secured maximum points in the series for Hubert in a good start of the season swim. Le Friec touched in 2-29.62.
The 14/15 age group saw Matthew Tostevin and Lotte Parfit take the honours while Toby Belton and Sebina Steininger, in the 12/13 years group, posted excellent personal bests, improving by more than 12 seconds to record 3-00.10 and 3-13.06 respectively.
Leah Winberg, who placed third in the 12/13 age group, improved on her entered time by more than 27 seconds.
The fastest of the day in the 100m individual medley were Jonathon Le Noury and Victoria Parfit. Le Noury touched in a lifetime best of 1-02.90 with Parfit posting 1-11.48.
