No let-up at the Halfway

Wednesday 14th October 2009, 2:29PM BST.

THE current traffic flow at the Halfway filter junction will remain in place until the end of the roadworks project.0851660

It had been hoped to allow vehicles to exit from Vale Road at the filter, but this will not happen because of safety issues.

Ronez is now resurfacing the last section of road in Les Banques.

North- and southbound traffic can continue to use Les Banques, with the pavement and cycle lanes remaining closed. Vale Road is one-way from Les Banques to Fryer Tucks. Traffic from Vale Road towards the seafront can use the slip road and exit left, northbound only.

Traffic cannot enter Vale Road from the north.

Those travelling into Town who normally use the Halfway filter should use Braye Road, Vale Avenue, the Bridge and Bulwer Avenue or Braye du Valle, Route des Capelles, Route du Coutanchez, Pitronnerie Road and Admiral Park.

Access to businesses is either from the south end of Les Banques or St Clair Hill.
