NORTH boss Mick Le Prevost is resting some of his big name players for their Stranger Cup tie with Athletics tonight, but he would have rested more if he could have.0280357

The league champions face great rivals Bels in Division One on Friday night.

Le Prevost had wanted to give most of his regulars the night off tonight and field a young side instead.

But with several of North’s best juniors ruled out this evening as they are involved in Guernsey under-18s’ FA Youth Cup round one match with Berks & Bucks on Saturday, it has left him with no option but to play some of his stars.

‘I was going to play a lot of the kids but I found out they’ve got an island game on the weekend,’ said Le Prevost.

‘I wanted to give five or six of them a run out, but unfortunately that’s the way it goes.’
