The Friday night fixture proved a big success with hundreds witnessing the 12-goal spectacular.
Craig Young was the main star for the chocolate-and-blues with a hat-trick as he made the most of his striking role alongside Simon Tostevin, who added a brace of his own.
Glyn Dyer and Matt Loaring hit North’s others with Dave Rihoy (two), Neil Le Cheminant, Scott Bradford and John Rihoy replying for Bels.
‘It was entertaining – a great game. I am so pleased for the boys because we deserved to win the game,’ said Le Prevost, whose North side maintained their 100% record in the league.
‘Coming forward we were dynamite. They could not cope with us.
‘We had a plan and we had three different formations we could play, which we would have switched if necessary, but after about 30 minutes I thought “this [first] plan is going to work”.
‘The performance and the effort were outstanding. It’s a great result and it puts us top of the league, but it does not win us the league.’
Yesterday Bels dropped to third on goal difference as there were 12 more goals at the KGV.
This time, though, they were all for one side as St Martin’s hammered Athletics.
