KRISTINA NEVES has broken yet another national record.
Competing in the Junior Harrogate Championships on Sunday, the young Guernsey Swimming Club star set a new national time of 2min. 24.45sec. in the 200m backstroke.
The 13-year-old now has eight national times to her name.
In the six races she entered in Harrogate, Neves gained five personal bests.
She also came away with six gold medals and was named the top girl for her age group.
It wrapped up an incredibly busy weekend for the Sarnian as on the Friday and Saturday she was in Crystal Palace, south London, in the Schools Division 12 competition.
There she came second in the 100m butterfly with a time of 1-05.48, which was a south east record as well.
She was also in two relays in which they finished second in both the freestyle and medley.
