Defender Simon Geall is also injured while talented young striker Luke Winch is cup tied after signing from Athletics earlier this month.

Saints suffered a shock defeat in the Stranger Cup on Wednesday night at the hands of an inspired Rangers.

Fallaize gave his players the proverbial ‘hairdryer’ treatment after the game and it is safe to say that he is expecting a better performance from them today.

‘I certainly do,’ he said.

‘The fact is that I can accept fully what football is but what I can’t accept is that Rangers wanted that game more than my boys. Rangers fully deserved what they got.

‘We have to take it on the chin.’

The game kicks off at 2pm.
