A TEENAGE girl was taken to hospital after two cars collided in St Peter’s yesterday.
The incident happened at the junction of Rue du Felconte and Route des Adams at about 4.30pm and all emergency services attended.
The road was closed for more than an hour.
The 14-year-old was a rear-seat passenger in a Suzuki saloon that was being driven up Route des Adams towards La Houguette when it was struck by a Fiat that is thought to have driven over the yellow line at the Rue du Felconte junction.
The girl was complaining of central neck and back pain and firefighters cut the roof off the Suzuki so she could be removed on a spinal board and taken to hospital.
The girl’s brother was a front-seat passenger in the car, which was being driven by their mother, and the Fiat had one male occupant.
