CHRIS SIMPSON last night progressed into the quarter-finals of the PSA Tour two-star Coronation London Open.
The No. 5 seed overcame Welshman Rob Sutherland 11-7, 11-9, 11-7 in 45min.
The Sarnian now faces Shahier Razik.
In the women’s event, Zephanie Curgenven was beaten 11-6, 11-6, 11-4 in the first qualifying round by Canadian Stephanie Edmison.
