Vale Rec in action against Castle Cary last Saturday.

VALE REC have been pulled out of the bag to face Frome Collegians in the next round of the Somerset Senior Cup.

The yellow-and-greens put in a solid performance to defeat Castle Cary 3-2 at the Corbet Field on Saturday.

Castle Cary turn out in the Errea Somerset County League Premier Division.

Frome Collegians are in two leagues below in Division Two East.

However, they did manage to get better of cup holders Bridgwater Town in the opening round.

Bridgwater are also in the Premier Division.

The match went to penalties after the score was 3-3 after normal and extra time.

Frome won the shootout 5-4.
