Patten-less Greens

Saturday 28th November 2009, 2:30PM GMT.

Jordan ReynoldsGUERNSEY face a massive game against London Cornish in London Two South-West at Foote’s Lane this afternoon.

The Greens have the same record as the exiles having played eight, won five and lost three.

But the Sarnians are one place above them in the table in third thanks to a superior points difference.

‘Obviously this week is huge for us as we can take second spot or, on the flip side, be pushed down to fourth,’ said Guernsey player-coach Jordan Reynolds (pictured).

‘The league is really tight right now and we are comfortable with this, as we have all agreed that no game can be taken lightly and we all know we have to play 80 minutes week in and week out.’

Reynolds said that his team are at full strength for the match, apart from his fellow Australian Cameron Patten, who is unavailable.

Reynolds will fill Patten’s slot at full back while big Jim Elliott moves to centre and Barry Goude returns to the wing.

The match is due to get under way at 1.30pm.
