HEATHER WATSON has progressed into the last 16 in the girls’ singles at the Eddie Herr International Junior Championships.
She beat Monica Turewicz 6-4, 6-1 yesterday in Florida.
The number one seed from Guernsey now faces Russian Polina Leykina, who is seeded 13, for a place in the quarter-finals.
