MORE than 30 riders tackled the Guernsey Motorcycle and Car Club’s fourth trial of the season.

Competitors of all ages were keen to test themselves on the slippery and testing course caused by the recent wet weather.

The morning sections set in Petit Bot valley had the juniors showing their form with Ben Le Page and Sammy Bott, both 11 and riding Beta machines, battling for top honours on the blue route with Chris Le Page hot on their heels.

Ben Le Page eventually claimed top spot by 14 points.

Also impressing a small number of spectators were Ross Torode and Simon Cowley tackling the red route, with the former just coming out on top.

The green route saw nine-year-old Josh Lambourne sliding around struggling for grip and also having fun on the hills in muddy conditions was Louis Waterman.
