Milkman jammed between runaway van and wall is back in a fortnight

Cesare Fabbri A MILKMAN who was injured when he was trapped between his van and a wall said it was the worst accident of his life.

Cesare Fabbri, 59, broke his shoulder and two ribs when he tried to stop his van from rolling away at La Mazotte, Vale, on Saturday 12 December.

He was on his rounds at the time.

Since then, he has undergone treatment and has not been able to deliver to his 350 customers.

But thanks to a close friend, his round will be resumed from today.

Mr Fabbri (pictured) has been a milkman for five years. He was hospitalised for five days after the accident, which happened at 6.16am.

‘It’s the worst accident I have ever had,’ said the father of three.

‘I had never broken a bone in my body before.’
