Figuiera shooting Manzur to title

MANZUR lead the IAG Saturday League Division One table by eight points and also have the comfort of two games in hand of their closest rivals, Couture Thundercats.
But there are a host of teams queuing up behind second-placed Couture all of whom have games in hand.
In the latest round of games Manzur beat Northern Trust 3-1, with goals coming from Matt Le Cras (pictured) and two from the league’s top marksman, Roque Figuiera.
Craig Dodd grabbed a consolation for the Trust company.
Couture Thundercats beat bottom of the table Evans & Co 5-0 with their goals coming from Danny Felbabel, Paul Le Tocq, George Slane and two for John Bowden.
Port City jumped into third in the table with a hard fought 2-1 win over Police, the goals for Port came from Stephen Hyde and Johnny Gauvain jnr with Darren du Jardin netting for the Police, who also missed a penalty which cost them a point.
In the other Division One clash PWC drew 1-1 with Gattuso’s Revenge.
